Texas Association For Health Care Recruitment



TAHCR Objectives:

  1. Promote health care professionals as viable careers for individuals seeking to acquire professional status.

  2. Establish and maintain favorable relationships with schools, agencies, and organizations that provide recruiting sources and opportunities.

  3. Assist in schedule development and / or operations or conventions, job fairs, career days, or other contact time where recruiters can meet potential applicants.

  4. Serve as an informational resource for members concerning recruitment and scheduling of recruitment activities.

  5. Gather, evaluate and share information concerning the cause of turnover, positive efforts, and activities.

  6. Promote Texas as a favorable enviroment for pursuing a career as a health care professional.

  • TAHCR Activities:

    1. Meetings are held annually, at the Fall Conference.

    2. Committees are designed by each board to address current recruitment issues and to promote better recruitment practices in Texas.

    3. Voluntary member participation is encouraged and welcomed.

    4. Seminars -Topics are pertinent to current member needs and health care recruitment problems and practices.

    5. Membership Directory - Published annually, the membership directory lists the names, addresses, and telephone numbers of all TAHCR members.
